Salt, how much different can it really be????

Your average salt, (Ex) Mortons and even Sea Salts found in stores have items in them you would never think of!  Here are a list of items found in salts sold all over the world.
* White sugar
* Maltodextrin (Carbohydrate artificially produced that still works like sugar)
* Aluminum
* Anti-caking agents (When salt is heated, producer adds to prevent clumping)
* Retains water
*MSG

These are just a few items l listed. Most are foreign substances, and harmful to our bodies.  One has to ask: Why would you add sugar to my salt?  When doctors and the media tell us salt is bad, you need ask what type of salt?  Where does it come from and has anything been added?

Salt affects our nervous system and circulatory system.   Commercial salt slows down the lymphatic system, which affect your body in general, as the garbage and inflammation trying to escape, is forced to sit longer in our bodies.   Our blood pressure rises, as the blood is trying to move chemicals out of the body and away from the heart.  Here are some causes one can have from using table salts with additives listed below:
* Diabetes
* Obesity
* Kidney failure
* Thyroid imbalance
* Stroke
* Gout

One has to think, how in the world can salt be so different?   It all starts where the salt actually came from, how it is mined and how is it dried and packaged?  Our Himalayan salt does not contain any of the items I have listed above.  In fact, 85% of our salt is derived from a pure sodium chloride ratio and the rest of the %15 percent are the 84% traces of colloidal minerals.  It is in a right ratio, when used with water to drink (Sole) or with food.  Our bodies understand the natural form and help communicate and facilitate the salt within the cells of our bodies.  Our salt is mined by hand, yes no machinery involved, washed by water and dried in the sun, so it takes time to dry the salt, but in a natural environment, not by a machine and at regular temperatures.  With pollution on the rise all over the world, our salt has not seen water, since it was actually covered in water, way before our time.   This is a significant statement to make, as most sea salts today are in-fact in waters surrounded by pollution.

If you are not supplementing, using our Himalayan Salt will get you the base 84 colloidal minerals.  There are cases out there, where a person deficient in Potassium can level and improve the current condition, but I would recommend one also reverts to either green food diet or supplements, one has done research on!  As we know, the supplement market is increasing, so one has to do their research on what is in the capsule and what the capsule is made of?

Salt is not optional, it is essential, without it, your body will not make hydrochloric acid.  Our bodies contain mostly water and salt.  You want to carry a salt that does not retain a large portion of that water, since we do not want blood pressure rises.  In fact, Himalayan salt is known to actually regulate your blood pressure more than anything.  Salt your way to health, but be sure to use the right salt.  One great way to check how your body is affected, simply add a pinch salt to water and drink it on an empty stomach and check your blood pressure 15-20 minutes later.  Please make sure it is on an empty stomach and check your pressure before and after. Please consult a physician if you have any questions.   Be sure your physician understands different types of salts and is not restricting you on all salts, as it can be detrimental to your body.

FIBER IS KEY TO OUR HEALTH

Fiber is one of the most important elements, when it comes to our nutrition.  We get hung up on verbiage like organic, non-gmo, gluten free and many more.   These terms are all relevant and important, but among enzymes, vitamins and minerals, fiber is one that mostly help facilitate the food one eats, as the movement called peristalsis helps pass the food (Chyme) from our stomach into the small intestine and finally into our large intestine.  Many things can happen between the 14-18 hours one eats food and gets rid of it.  Part of the fiber in stage 2 or 3 as I like to call it. Our body requires to work and push through a valve that is contained by food substances along with liquid.  The less fiber we eat, the more and more our system has to work.  Fiber ensures that everything is getting pushed through and the body is emptying out the garbage each day.  Skipping cycles when not having enough fiber can clog up the valve and put the body in overtime and lead to many conditions, such as diverticulitis, colitis and much more.
If you want to be healthy or looking to become healthy, I recommend either juicing each day or at least blending a smoothie as I mostly do.  Blending instead of juicing will give you fiber, so remember, a smoothie is also healthy!!  Use a lot of green vegetables, along with a lemon that will increase the PH of the drink. Add your favorite items to increase the taste.  One has to tweak the recipe, so it tastes good and is also good for your body.  Next is to eat raw vegetables and fruit that do not contain lots of sugar.  In terms of cooking, slowly steam the vegetables half way (al dente), to leave some fiber and enzymes as much as you can.  The point here is start slow and start with enzymes, which can be as easy as organic unpasteurized apple cider vinegar and lots of foods that contain fiber, mostly vegetables not fruit.  Eating salads everyday can also be helpful.  Fiber is good, but one has to make sure it is not all sugar contained items as well.  Once the diet is implemented, one can then focus more on non-gmo, organic and of course gluten free.  It takes time and effort along with continued education on your own to master a diet that fits your body, that also shows results that one is looking for.   Eating in moderations along with normal serving is key.  One can eat healthy, but overeating occurs often, which results in the colon and the rest of the body being overworked and usually one will feel sluggish after the large meal.  Your body knows best and no one will understand your body like you!

Salads or steam cooking, I only add butter red palm oil or coconut oil in last stage.  I stay away from the olive oils or other oils that are easily oxidized.  Saturated fats or oils that can take higher temperatures is what I use most.  You can check out some older blogs on saturated fats I wrote about a few times in the last few years.

Himalayan mountains, its region and its products

The Himalaya’s is where our salt we import comes from.  The mountains are so big and wide, they are surrounded by countries like Pakistan, India, Nepal and even China on the other side.  At the top of China you will find regions like Kashmir, which is the biggest produced of Cashmere wool.
Our salt comes from Lahore, Pakistan, right at the top, as it is the most convenient place to mine.  Himalayan salt can come from either Pakistan, India or Nepal.  Nepal is also big for exporting Soap Nuts, a natural form of detergent used to do Laundry, where it releases foam in a warm to hot temperature, without any chemicals being added.  The beauty of these regions in most places, exclude car traffic and at most times require for a tractor to export the salt or other products from the mines.

Our Himalayan salt we import, has not seen ocean water in thousands of years.  It can only be mined by hand and is dried in the sun.  It is the old school method of preserving a product that is pure and has not been altered with.  Our salt does not contain iodide a necessary nutrient.  It means we do not put synthetic iodine in salt, where some countries require this, we strictly prohibit this procedure.  We simply tell our customers, there are very small traces of iodine in our salt, but we do not add or put it back in.  This process can be done, by using water and parts of iodine being sprayed over the salt.  Again, (we do not do this with our salt).  If you need additional iodine (iodide) in your system, you can use Kelp as one of many  examples.  Conventional salt such as Morton’s or others found in stores and restaurants use a salt that have the following:  97.5 sodium chloride and 2.5% is garbage that should not go into your system, such as anti-caking agents, prevent salt from clumping, aluminum (man made), and even traces of sugar at times, yes sugar.  Himalayan salt is about 85% sodium chloride and the rest 15% are benefits of colloidal trace minerals, that are beneficial to our bodies.  The chemistry of your body using conventional salt will put lots of stress on your body, as the 2.5% are not in a natural state and almost like foreign objects, where your body is not sure what to do with or how to dispose of.  It takes your body much more energy to excrete the chemicals and one can even develop high blood pressure, or inflammation from consuming regular table salt.  Salt, if pure can be added as a dietary supplement, but there is good salt and bad salt.  One is mined by hand the other by dirty machinery. One is dried in the sun, the other is dried in a machine at 1200 degrees Fahrenheit which kill all nutrients and forms of life and change it’s chemical structure at that point.

Please remember that many people are salt deficient.  You need (NACI) to make acid in your stomach (hydrochloric acid) in order to break food down, not to mention salt and water distribute your lymphatic system properly.  All the left overs collected by the white cells (leukocytes) help distribute the garbage out, which helps avoiding inflammation, gout and other internal body problems using generic table salt that is processed, heated and using heavy metals as agents to prevent clumping.  Why would you want to put metals in your body???

Lastly, any dehydrated patient going to a hospital is given what?  A saline intravenous, why?  Same goes for all of us, it is not only about drinking plenty of water but having an adequate amount of water, salt and proportion of minerals, vitamins, enzymes and amino acids.  How many athletes and folks died of dehydration again?  Add some salt to your water drink and you have an alternative electrolyte drink versus the garbage sports drinks that dye your liver and promote diabetes from all the sugar or sugar replacements.  All of us at birth are surrounded by salt water in the womb. It is part of us and somehow the media and medical community has made this commodity very inexpensive, versus years ago, when it was more expensive than gold.  This was due to inefficient testing and future of big pharma.  Being deficient in salt is like being deficient in proper fat, trouble for the body ahead, resulting in statin drugs and more.  High blood pressure is not made by the natural salt, rather the foods and liquids consumed along with the generic salts in the foods sold in stores, restaurants.  Not to mention the leading culprit is the actual oil (vegetable/olive, etc..)  that is oxidized or unnatural fat.  There is a difference, not all salts are created equal!!!!

Himalyan salt versus Table salt/(Wholefoods salt!!!!!

What is the difference between our Himalayan Salt and regular table salt?  Easy, the regular table salt it is processed, cooked down, all the essential minerals and nutrients are stripped away, leaving you with processed additives to replace the natural goodness of  salt.  The additives can even be sugar or maltodextrin and even aluminum that is not natural rather man made.   The more artificial additives or heavy metals, your body works that much harder to get rid of them and resulting in an unregulated lymphatic system, which is there to get rid of garbage in the first place, making it harder to work.  Check out the picture in this blog, it is the Mediterranean salt that whole foods sells.  Even though it is a nice container, catchy verbiage to get your attention, yet it is still slightly processed.   Just because it comes from France, Spain, Greece, Portugal, if it is processed it is no good.  If I had to pick Whole foods salt or Mortons, of course I would pick Whole Foods, but it is the lessor of two evils.  If you want to get the best benefits of salt, it has to be raw, unprocessed, mined by hand not by machinery.  It has to be cleaned with water by hand and dried in the sun using traditional methods, time and the heat from the sun to dry it down and give it energy.  Every mineral in one shape or another gets energy from the sun.

In our modern world, the world salt usually refers to a highly refined substance, sodium chloride.  Medical literature abounds with evidence of harmful effects that result from over consumption of the refined salt.  However, for centuries, the word salt referred to a completely natural, unrefined substance that was always associated with life enhancing effects. (Modern scientific research indicated that the rediscovery of natural salt may become the most important health discovery of the 21st century.
For thousand of years the word salt was used to describe something else altogether, a completely natural mineral compound that contains not only sodium chloride but actually up to 74 minerals and trace elements in the same proportions that are found in the human blood.  Such salt was always associated with healthful and life enhancing effects.

They also contain a lot of sugar, which means we should not be eating 4-5 bananas all day for energy, or drink 5 cups of coffee that will dehydrate you and lower your PH among others.  You can simply take a teaspoon of sole add to filtered water and add some vitamin c, apple cider vinegar, aloe vera juice and much more.
